    Good video of a man doing a documentary going in and talking to the people. Their literally broke wages are incredibly low food is great for the tourists but the people are struggling to find and buy it.
    Ironically the poor neighborhoods are immaculate clean I was surprised. Nice people they just have nothing and I mean nothing under communism.
    Nice guy filming he brought little trinkets to hand out and it was like he was giving the winning lottery tickets. I flew over Cuba twice once to the Caymans and once to Cancun. Clear day it looked beautiful from the air?

      Many moons ago my younger days I was working at the Broward county convention center. Lots of Cubans and I got to be really good friends with a bunch of them.. My Spanish was getting better and better the more I practiced around them.. But my one close amigo and myself got to thinking about going down their and opening a bar.
      I forget which pres. we had Clintoon maybe? But we were getting on better relations with them. Then the Dumbocrats lost and that was the end of that the Republicns said 'F$%K you commies.' The country side did look good from a few miles up with miles and miles of open beaches. But like were all saying communism socialism good ideas but they never seem to work for any country that tries it.
      Yup old Castro was right get the guns far away from the people because even he knew his commie agenda was not going to pan out. Cubans lining up for their food rations the electricity a luxury coming on only for a few hours each day.
      Lard ass Michael Moore must have missed that when he was filming down their showing how great things were. 😉

          I have spoken to people who go there regularly, she has her mom and son there so she goes to buy them food like every three months. She says the island is falling apart. Go to youtube and search for Havana , it is bad, I've been to some shitty countries and this is the worst. What happened is most of the white folks have left the island, then the blacks from the eastern side moved in and you know what happens when blacks take over, compounded with lack of water, electricity and maintenance I just don't see a future for that place. Tim, I'm going to tell you what I have told a lot of people who ask me how I feel about Cuba when they find out I'm from there : I've been here almost all my life at least the last 60 years of it, this is my country and I really don't give a crap about any other place, even if I was born there. They wanted Castro, they wanted the Russians...and they keep blaming the US for everything. fuck them.
          Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.
