I'll double check but I think the eggs are pasteurized. Not certain but either way never had a problem.
That's how you pasteurize them, bring them up to 144ยบ, or you can have them raw and chances are nothing will happen and if it does is just a short case of the runs.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.
