I'm going to have to have surgery

I think it will be just minor surgery. Yesterday I was on my rowing machine and pulling hard and suddenl felt a pain near my belt line. The pain was intense. I got off my machine and felt that area. There was a small lump. I've had hernias before. So I called my doctor to set an appointment.

Some days it doesn't pay to get up.

That is minor surgery now days Pogo you will probably be in the hospital overnight. I also need to get sliced. Left hip replacement finally gave out after 16 yrs. lasted longer than they thought.
V.A. Doc told me I have been operated on so many times their thinking about naming an operation room with my personal name on the door. 😊
You will be fine buddy don't worry bout it.

I have a slipped disk and doc said I might need surgery to fuse it. Not happening, at least anytime soon.

Have 2 hernias as well but would put me off work for too long.

Been through two, sent me home the same day
Second was quicker recovery but still hurt for a few days
Just take it easy and let it heal you'll be back in business

I hate doctors, hospitals, ETAL but if it's a hernia and it hurts you need to take care of it. There will be no rowing for a while though. That's an easy one, having a tube down your throat is the worst part, it's standard procedure for general anesthesia.

Right. I wont be able to use my rowing machine. But I can still use my treadmill. I'll have to ask the doctor about using my exercise bike.

I'm using the bike about 45 min a day while I watch the news, my chest still hurts quite a bit, I guess too many nerves and bones were cut to get to the fuel pump. Rowing machine is sitting in the shed, but as I understand it is one of the best exercising equipments.
