I have a job tonight in Queens .
I have to make sure I don't get shot ,
my men don't get shot , and then
    survive the weather .

That sounds like an Olympic sport .🤔

    Right now it's 5° / -11° windchill
    Going down to 2° .

    Keep your powder dry
and an edge on your knife .
Stay out of harm's way ,
    MERC

Been watching the snowboarding & skiing events, some incredible athletes competing. I used to ski when I was young but that was a lifetime ago.

Snowboarding was growing when I retired from skiing having spent many yrs. in the mountains. Its grown to a billion dollar $$ industry.

Growing up in SW Ohio we didn't have the big hills and mountains to really get into it. A HS classmate's father owned the only ski venue around those parts. Lack of real snowfall didn't help either. It was more like frozen mud skiing with fake snow from machines on top.
