What's everyone's take on the kidnapped lady?

I'm getting tired of hearing the same crap about the glove and DNA and the door bell picture. This is very, very strange.

Either there is something big going on and they are not telling the people or they are absolutely clueless.

If she was kidnapped for ransom there is no credible evidence of such a thing.
If someone wanted her dead, she's gone already.
I think she may have orchestrated the whole thing herself so she could go have a good time south of the border with some old guy and then claim an alien abduction.

I'm with Pogo I really don't watch it. But I guess her daughter is some well know news anchor? Is this what is keeping it front page? Children are kidnapped every day in America and all we hear is crickets about them. So what the hell is the big deal about this elderly lady?
My guess is the daughter is the key to this whole kidnapping their going after her through the mother. They want the news anchor daughter to do something? Maybe she was about to break a story someone does not want public?

Grabbed by one of the Cartels for ransom money. Kidnapping got botched and the old lady got offed. Buried in a hole somewhere in the desert.

That sheriff is a dipshit. Whole case should have been turned over to FBI at the outset based on celebrity involvement. My money is on the son in law. He was the last person to see her before disappearance. Dropped her off after dinner alone. I don't necessarily think he personally did it but he was involved. Whats his background? Did family take polygraphs? Who benefits financially from her death? Sadly she is almost certainly dead at this point.

Something ain't Kosher. Something is not being disclosed and I bet there is a skeleton in a closet somewhere and nobody wants to talk about it.

Every police department and FBI is on the case and all they say is "Nothing".

No real ransom note, the guy was not a pro at this, no theft. Maybe she forgot to pay the pool guy and he decided to bang her for a month or two?
