That sheriff is a dipshit. Whole case should have been turned over to FBI at the outset based on celebrity involvement. My money is on the son in law. He was the last person to see her before disappearance. Dropped her off after dinner alone. I don't necessarily think he personally did it but he was involved. Whats his background? Did family take polygraphs? Who benefits financially from her death? Sadly she is almost certainly dead at this point.

I believe that the SIL dug a hole somewhere remote and waited on the right time to put her in it. Took a syringe of blood from her, put her purse and phone back at her house, then put the blood at the entrance to the house. Opened and closed the garage door to put her items in the house and returned later in his get up to make it look like a burglary gone wrong or whatever reason.
