not having all that ass to carry around is a big help. Fuck Metformen. Fuck Simvastatin. Fuck that neuropathy pain med gabboxxxx? Fuck blood pressure meds. Dont need any of them. Mr. Arthritis is here to stay....unfortunately. My moonwalking days are also over. I weighed 145 pounds when I PCS'd the RVN.... 165 pounds as a football linebacker in HS.... I was pretty fast in pads. Now I'm a geezer...
Damn exactly what I weighed dink when I rotated out of the Nam 145 lbs. Yah got me thinking now as I am reading all the posted weight loss ideas. You for sure remember our diet? C-Rats and water. Time to hit E-Bay and buy old cases of them. You can have my ham and limas.
What the hay are these young troops eating now a days? Their all built like Merc we were skin and bones.

Let us know. Were you a pipe smoker?

Don't smoke. Don't drink enough to say I drink.

Pipe smoking is notorious for that kind of cancer, I smoked pipe for 50 years, last time I smoked one was the day before my open heart surgery. Haven't missed it at all. Family history of heart issues, not cancer.

Down to 231 lbs today. That makes it -15 lbs since the start of May. I tell myself I'm deliberately only losing 3 lbs a month because I don't want flabby, loose skin. Gotta lose slowly, let the body adjust to the new dimensions.

Nix as much refined white sugar AND bleached white flour from your diet and your eats as possible. Limit your pasta intake. Eleminate sweet sodas....and don't eat like a starving dog. I did those things and lost 140 pounds in a year. My BP dropped a bit and my energy began returning. Most if the wheezing went away also. Just saying..... eat your cheeseburger without a bun. Leave the biscuits alone. Those weight loss shots....well....I don't trust that shit. I have pizza maybe twice a year...I do miss the huge plates of spaghetti and lasagna.... Over the last six weeks I've dropped another ten pounds. I'm good at @180#. Another 50# and I'm there.

That's awesome!! Keep it up. I need to get my shit together, I'd like to lose about 30 pounds. But its too hot right now to do any rucking or other outdoor cardio. And I'm going on vacation in nine days (8-day road trip) and I know I'll eat like crap the entire time. Might as well start up and get serious when I get back.

My sister has lost over 40 lbs with the help of TIrzepatide until she quit using it. Then she lost another 4 lbs and went on black market Retatutride. After starting on that, her A1c dropped below diabetic range for the first time since 2014. Those shot are amazing. They are finding more benefits from them for cardio vascular and arthritis, too.

It's pretty simple, if it tastes good spit it out.

                        And "Quit yer eatin boy!"

Still have the sads that John Pinette passed. I still pull up some of his comedy routines when I don't feel like eating another salad.

I eat real butter instead of that margarine shit. You know a fly won't even land on that shit? I drink whole milk. I eat red meat. I like Southern cooking. I read labels on the shit that goes into my cake hole. I don't smoke. Now abd then a gin&tonic and sometimes I tip Jim Beam into my coffee when it's a day I'm not going anywhere. I enjoy driving my vette and my F350 supercab with the Godzilla engine. I do like fast powerful cars and trucks... but i generally drive like a geezer, defensively and within the speed limits. Been looking at 2026 Stringray vetts. I like red or metalic blue with a black interior. Yes. I can get in and out of my Z just fine. Dropping well over a hundred pounds really eased the getting into and out if my plastic fantastic. Hoisting my ass up into a high sitting 4x4 is also much less complicated. Having a prosthetic foot and being 78 years old has slowed me down...but...but I'm still here. Shed them pounds fat boys...it's a boat anchor around our necks. The strain of carrying around all that ass will put us under the grass, early.

Right after my cardiologist appointment I may go on Zepbound and try to lose some 60-70 lbs. Both my boys have done great with it. The oldest one who had the back problem has lost over 120 lb, the other guy was not as bad but he's lost 90 lb, he actually looks sick, his wife lost a few too.
