Remember Castro took away all guns and people do complain and they do go out on the streets and the "rapid brigades" as they are called show up, beat people up and take them away not to be seen for 30 years. You can't fight without weapons or food.

This will get interesting now, Castro's brother just got indicted, CUba now says they are now willing to negotiate....negotiate with what? meanwhile we have a carrier parked not far away...not that we need it really, from Boca Chica to Cuba an F16 can be there in 10 minutes and we do have them in Boca Chica, I've flown next to them (sort of) on my way to Key West International. I think we will see some very interesting times ahead, Just in case I'll load up my tools so I can try to knock down drones before they hit me.

Better understanding of landing when I fly commercial heavy looking out you swear their going to run out of runway. Landing in the Key hell we had a long runway still to go..

I've flown there a few times. Sometimes you need to talk to Navy Approach so they get you through their airspace.

While it's a good strategic place, it will become a money pit. They say "All the Cubans that have become millionaires and billionaires, they will invest" I'm sorry, I want to see a return on my investment while I'm alive, not 60 years down the road, not even my kids will be around in 60 years. The place needs a complete make over, not only the infrastructure is gone but society needs re-programming into working for a living. Most white people have left the island and when you have a place overcrowded with blacks, well, we all know what happens. I cannot see the US taking Cuba in, no. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it will be a mistake like Puerto Rico which costs us around $25B a year. Properties we left behind are gone. I know where there is a lot of gold coins buried on what used to be my grandparent's house but I'm not going there.
