Or they made an earth quake happen to cause this event?

URGENT WARNING: Nepal Faces New Disaster as Barrier Lake Nears BREACH POINT

URGENT WARNING: Nepal Faces New Disaster as Barrier Lake Nears BREACH POINT

The glacier falling did NOT cause this disaster. A whole section of the mountain bedrock collapsed taking the glacier with it. Now the disaster built lake at the mountain collapse is being held by a nature built damn. Rain may be coming adding water to the lake and their is a 'chance' the damn could collapse sending more water and debris down the valley.
Get ready for a possible part two to this mess.

C'mon Bro . . . everything can't be 'glowbull warming'. Either Trump or the chinese is responsible for it.

This disaster in Nepal is way more common than I realized. If you Google similar disasters they have occurred numerous times around the globe.

A long documentary but interesting in the similarities to the recent Nepal incident..

The videos that are coming out literally defy human comprehension on the scale of this disaster. About the only way you could describe the flood waters is that they had explosive force when they encountered an object and most objects that were in the way of the water lasted barely seconds if that before they gave way and disappeared. Apparently, there were some warnings to people along the river that a flood was coming but it had been dry for so long they didn't take the warning seriously. They will not be making that mistake again anytime soon.

I wonder how this will impact the Yeti population.
Yeti's probably started the avalanche to preserve their habitats.

dink they get into the googology which you might be interested in as to the cause? A huge section of the mountain caved in taking the glacier with it. What a freaking mess. I hope the Yeti's made it..

Saw one clip with a huge boulder rolling along. Must have been a good 15 to 20 foot diameter

Here's another a little closer to home

At least 80 people were rescued after deadly flash flooding swept through the Grand Canyon over the weekend, leaving two people dead and one still missing, officials said late Monday.

“Preliminary assessments indicate approximately 40 percent of the Transcanyon Waterline was damaged or destroyed,
