Michigan has an online sex offender registry. It's easy to navigate and you can quickly track convicted offenders living in your area. Just this Summer, one moved into my area just down the road. He was convicted of 1st degree CSC (person under age of 13) in 2015. He served his time (about 8 years) and is now in his late 60's. Other states have similar sites.
