The US Military has offices in the Pentagon that makes plans for ALL eventualities in the exercising of our military might...these plans for EVERYTHING are taken out, dusted off and upgraded to current mil specs. I once heard that there were "what if," plans for military deployments in case of space invasion.

I would think that the 10th Mountain Division and the Rangers along with armor from Ft. Hood and anti-air craft missile defense units will all be going. Sending tanks to the canal zone is a railroad and US Navy ro-ro ship job. Easy peasy.

Getting booted from the CZ will be seen as a major loss of face for the CCP. You bet your ass that the defense of the CZ will become a major priority. We are going to.pour zillions of $$$ to upgrade/widen the canal to permit the passage of large tankers, aircraft carriers, container ships.

No they know that Fred that is why that incredible smart business man PT steps in to help. Hell Nicaragua doesn't plan on lifting a shovel full of dirt it will be the U.S. us doing the building. I have been reading a bit on the project. Guess for a lot of years their was talk about doing the canal well PT is a doer.
We will get the job done and in turn a contract will be drawn with us having control of the canal with both our countries taking in the $$. Some Chinese billionaire was going to do it until he had problems with the Jap stock market. $50 billion is the figure I am reading not sure what that covers? P.T. will get er done with us getting the best of the deal. Take the Nicaraguans about a year to figure they got screwed but oh well to late quit whining. MAGA. 😉
