I'm 61 and healthy. I realize that can change, so am sort of "living in the moment"; enjoying every day and not worrying too much about long term stuff. For example; the wife decided to plant some white pines on the dam between our creek and pond. They're growing very fast. I cautioned her that in 50 years or so, those trees will grow too big for the dam, will uproot during a wind storm and destroy the dam. She laughed and said "You've got 10-20 years max. What happens in 50 years will be someone else's problem."

I turned 80 last July and they say my vision is 20-40 but I can still see the iron sights on the rifles that has them. My problem is that driving at night is real spooky. Arthritis and neuropathy are my big troubles. I was good til the spring of 22, then things went to hell.
Tolerance is a way of life now.
