Have an appointment tomorrow at 10:30 at an office way down south, just to get my eyes tested and a new photograph, things which I had done a couple years ago when I switched my license to "Real ID" with the star on the corner. I hope my eyes can read line 5, my cataract surgery was 12 years ago.

I renewed mine a few months ago. They didn't check my eyes, but I was wearing glasses at the time.Comment

Hey Stranger, good to hear from you. In Flarda all you need is 20/40 vision. "Read Line 5 Please" PECFD learn that by memory/Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.Comment

Got the "Real ID" license Tuesday. I used the glasses, by crimping on brass tubing to hold the arms on. Worked well enough to pass the test, although it was not FECFD. Now they have my digital faceprint in ultra high resolution by Safran's SAFR facial recognition platform in 8K resolution. Hell, the camera can see the parasites on my eyelashes, it's that sharp. It also takes 5 images including one with a flash. This gives them unprecedented ability to find 'ya anywhere with any camera or online image.Comment

Meh, I'm on so many lists by now. If you're not on a list, you're doing it wrong. Being in the military in the late 90s, they have my DNA. In high school, I went to Walden Books (or maybe B. Dalton Books ?) and had them order me a copy of "Mein Kamph", another list.Comment

You should go back to eye surgeon. After cataract surgery a cloudy film covers rhe lens. The procedure is called YAG laser capsulotomy.Have an appointment tomorrow at 10:30 at an office way down south, just to get my eyes tested and a new photograph, things which I had done a couple years ago when I switched my license to "Real ID" with the star on the corner. Fred make sure you bring your military DD-214, V.A. med card something proving you are a vet. They will stamp 'veteran' on your new license. Lots of places giving discounts to vets and they don't even have it advertised as such. Yesterday at lunch with my Nam buddy and a 10% discount shows up on the bill. We both had Nam vet hats on. Auto parts store same 10% off and I never asked for it.Have an appointment tomorrow at 10:30 at an office way down south, just to get my eyes tested and a new photograph, things which I had done a couple years ago when I switched my license to "Real ID" with the star on the corner. I was told, but my problem is astigmatism and may be a bit of the cloudiness. I remember my mother had it done, they just shoot it with a laser and clean it up.Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.Comment
