Which AI are you using to learn Italian? I'm learning Spanish at the moment for a trip to Uruguay and Argentina next month. I'm mostly fluent in Russian already, but may want to brush up on that as well
The Brits and Irish are fed up. Not sure what the Scottish are up to.

For a graduation gift when my daughter graduated paramedic school, we gave her a Bluetooth type ear bud device that translates a whole bunch of languages into English. She's used it so far to communicate with someone speaking French, Swahili, Vietnamese, and of course, lots of Spanish. The ambulance services should have these devices on every crew. Or, just tell them if they can't speak English, they're gonna die.Being able to speak Spanish down here is a plus, even my lawyer, a French born Jewish guy learned Spanish, My daughter got her job as an OR nurse because she spoke Spanish and was able to communicate with patients, my middle son never spoke much Spanish until he started his business and the oldest one can also do fairly well, he just got interviewed last week on a SpanishTV network and I mean he got the point across, not perfect but good enough. My grandchildren don't understand Spanish though. It's always been my believe that the original language gets lost by the third generation. English is one of the easiest languages to learn and speak. I'm trying to get my Italian up to date by using Artificial Intelligence and having conversations with a computer.👍 3Comment

I speak a bit of Spanish and can swear at someone in Hungarian. But my guess with all the tech coming out lately about translation devices that are small simple and easily carried? Well as Sanders is mentioning we are soon going to get devices that will automatically translate in any language in the world back to us in English.
Oh I know their is already some out their but different languages will be a barrier of the past and the whole world will be able to communicate with each other.👍 1Comment

Gemini from Google. That is the one my son introduced to the school system, and he helped Google folks fine tune it for education.
Uruguay and Argentina have their own dialect sort of so, they don't speak Galician Spanish, if you are a native speaker yes you'll understand but it may be confusing, also there is a lot of Italian mixed in.

My county has an "ICE prison". Just this year we've had 4 protests. Our county sheriff has handled each of them masterfully.
The latest one was this weekend. He refused to deploy deputies. The protesters spent 3 hours hollering at chain link fences, dirt roads, mosquitoes, and pine trees. Without an audience, the protesters had no one to hear their cries of anguish. Instead; they were met with deaf ears.Comment

Arabs hate dogs. That's no exaggeration. Here in the States, we all LOVE dogs. They're part of the family: gentle, loyal, loving animals who will do anything to make you happy. In Arab culture dogs are seen kinda like rats. They hate them.
I served in Iraq 2007-8. Whenever combat stress dogs visited our units, the Arab contractors and terps would back away like somebody just rolled a live hand grenade into the room. They hated dogs. That's one of the many reasons I hate THEM. I realize these are demons brought back with me from Iraq. For that reason, whenever I encounter an Arab, I go out of my way to be kind, gracious and friendly. It's not easy, buy I endeavor to take the higher road.Comment

The high road goes no where but down.

The Europeans will do nothing. Oh they might protest a little but in the end they will slink back into the pubs and drink while obsessing about soccer until they forget they are conquered. It is the way it has always been and will continue so.Comment
