I would swear I once saw a video of some mechanical device that loaded rounds into links.

There is a press type of device that is manufactured to press 10 or so rounds into 10 links with each cycle. They are ammo caliber specific so you need one for each caliber of ammo & type of link being loaded. These devices are about $500.00 each, so that gets real expensive if you have the need for more than one caliber/link of ammo to load.

My 1919a4 links are a bitch to put together by hand in either .308 or 30.06 caliber, so that would be the only machine I would need if all my linking wasn't done years ago.
