Affirmative, the man was 89 years old and his dog was killed too. The bear weighed almost 300 pounds. At that age a bobcat might have taken him out??

Your right Pogo they run around 350 lbs small by N. American standards. I am getting really good at bouncing beer bottles off their frigging heads when their in my garbage. 90% run 10%? That's all you got? We have more bears here than people in this small swamp town. New Jersey is have a real problem with them.
I just watched a documentary with so called experts speaking on why were seeing more black bear attacks. Appears like all big critters out their they are really territorial. As humans infringe into their territory they naturally are getting protective and attacks are getting more frequent. That and idiots feeding them.
Noise is your best friend to avoid any problems with them. Make noise when your in bear country like around here you don't want to be quiet and walk up on one.

There's a lot to unpack in that headline. I mean at no point while reading that sentence did I know what the next word might be.

"The girl threw a ball" By the time you've read "girl" you know what the subject is, by the time you see "threw" you've already narrowed it down quite a bit.

"Gordon Ramsay's" - OK, might be about food, his show, maybe a relative ...

            "dwarf" -- Excuse me?

"porn star" --- This isn't getting better. I'm already lost and we aren't even 1/2 way through the sentence. My brain gave up and my soul has left the building.

Interesting couple they are they have a number of them they keep. Hollyweird hires them out for movies and adds. He said they each have to have like 90 lbs. of food a day. Think? that one is around 1,700 lbs. ?

The largest grizzly ever legally taken by a hunter was an Alaskan giant killed near Norton Sound, Alaska, which scored a world-record \(27 \frac{9}{16}\) inches. In terms of captive bears, the largest brown bear was "Clyde" at the Dakota Zoo, weighing an astonishing 2,130 pounds. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Might have to go from 45-70 to 45-90 for that one.

Hell no Klauss I was thinking more like and RPG....
Pretty interesting watching the videos of this couple and their handling of their bears. He raises them from little cubs and says he has never had an injury from one. Every so often he takes them out in the wilderness to run around and they stay right close to him like a pack of dogs.

How about we split the difference and go 70-150?

My first trip to Florida i was warned about 'gators, that WILL attack and eat you if/when the opportunity arrives. I asked how you know the reptiles were lurking. I was told to go to the waters edge...place my hand on the surface and to feel the water....AND....f it was wet.....then.....there were gators in it.

While on the subject, did you see the guy getting hit by a bison yesterday? It's on the news Old man taking pictures of the beast, well...it's mating season, you get the hell out of the way but no, he wanted a picture, he flew about 10 feet in the air.
